We are the Stone Paper vendor in Italy engaging ourselves to promote its use instead of the traditional cellulose paper, because of its properties and its environmental sustainability.
Our purpose is to supply a major quality paper, designed for all requirements, taking the opportunity to inform and educate our clients to respect our planet and our environment.
To employ the Stone Paper means in fact prefer a type of paper that does not need trees nor the use of water for its production.
Thanks to the Stone Paper we have the chance to sustain our environment and its protection, by maintaining quality and values first.
MORE ABOUT STONE PAPER
Stone Paper is composed mainly by mineral powder (80% Calcium Carbonate) bounded with a small percentage of non-toxic resin (hdpe - 20%).
Stone Paper is 100% waterproof and resistant to any liquid and tears, does not reflect light and has a soft touch effect.
Stone Paper benefits from both the advantages of wood pulp paper and synthetic or plastic paper.
For its production, no trees are cut down, no water or bleach is used during production, which is the case during the production of traditional wood pulp paper, only 15% of energy is needed compared to traditional paper and the CO2 footprint released into the atmosphere is reduced by 65%.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
WATER CONSUMPTION = ZERO
The Stone Paper manufacturing project does not require water.
In the production of the traditional paper, for every 1.000 kg of paper 35.000 water liters are used of which about 2.770 are polluted and inoperable. Therefore, for each 1.000 kg of Stone Paper 2.770 water liters are saved: the equivalent of 142 showers or 50 months of drinking water (average consumption per person).
85% ENERGY SAVING
The energy saved with the Stone Paper amounts to the consumption of an year and a half of an average family. Thanks to the type and the high efficiency of the manufacturing process, to produce 1.000 kg of Stone Paper are only necessary 860 KWh, while for the traditional paper are needed 5.670 KWh.
CO2 LOW EMISSION
The carbon footprint of the Stone Paper is below 67% compared to the traditional paper: for each ton of Stone Paper the CO2 emission is 482 kg, while the one emitted by the traditional paper is 1.431 kg. Using the Stone Paper the reduction of the carbon footprint per 1.000 kg of paper amounts to 4.520 km travel routes: the distance between Napoli and Capo Nord.
THE PAPER THAT SAVES THE TREES
To produce 1.000 kg of traditional paper 18 trees are needed, while to produce the Stone Paper no tree is needed.
